Tec Software takes privacy seriously. In this Policy we explain how we use, store, share, and protect the personal data collected through the use of our services and the visit to our websites, and how Data Subjects can exercise the rights provided for under applicable legislation.

The data we collect depends on the context of your interactions with us. This Policy covers data from Customers, Consumers of Customers, and Users of our websites — collectively referred to as “Data Subjects”.

1 Who We Are

Tec Software¼ Data Source Informática Ltda offers a portfolio of internet services, including software as a service (SaaS), website hosting, cloud computing solutions, and virtual stores, among others. We are headquartered at Av. Maria Teresa, 75, Groups 318 and 319, Rio de Janeiro – RJ, Brazil.

2 Important Definitions

Brazilian General Data Protection Law (LGPD). Federal Law No. 13,709/2018, which regulates personal data processing activities — including in digital media — with the objective of protecting fundamental rights of freedom and privacy.

Processing Agents. The Controller is the person or company responsible for decisions regarding personal data processing. The Operator is the person or company that carries out the processing on behalf of the Controller, following its instructions.

Personal Data. Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.

Processing. Any operation carried out with personal data — automated or not — including collection, production, reception, classification, use, access, reproduction, transmission, distribution, processing, storage, archiving, deletion, evaluation, modification, communication, transfer, dissemination, or extraction.

  • Account credentials: email address, username, and password;
  • Payment information: credit card details, bank details, and invoice address;
  • Technical support data: ticket type, product or service related to your request, contact or authentication data, and content of communications with us, including phone recordings.

4 Consumers

In most of the products and services we offer, Tec Software acts as an Operator of personal data, following the instructions of our Customers. To understand how your data is handled by our Customers, please consult their respective privacy policies. Tec Software is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of our Customers.

(I) Data received from our Customers

Our Customers may provide us with your personal data — such as name, email address, phone number, identification number, or payment details — when using our services (e.g., uploading contact databases, issuing electronic invoices, or operating an online store).

(II) Data we collect automatically

  • Device data: IP address, operating system, geolocation information, and unique device identifiers;
  • Browsing data: interactions with marketing communications, pages viewed, whether you opened an email or added a product to your cart; performance metrics for the Services.

We may collect data from public databases, social media profiles, and credit protection entities — especially when you make a purchase through a website using our payment intermediation services.

The personal data processed by Tec Software is protected by physical, technical, and organizational security measures — such as firewalls, data encryption, physical access controls to data centers, and information access authorization controls — to reduce risks of loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, and alteration.

11 Rights of the Data Subject

12 Termination of Processing

We store your data: (I) for as long as required by law; (II) until the end of the processing period as described below; or (III) for as long as necessary to preserve Tec Software's legitimate interests.

Processing will terminate when: (I) the purpose for which the data was collected is achieved; (II) the Data Subject requests deletion; or (III) there is a legal determination to that effect. Upon termination, personal data will be deleted, except where retention is permitted by applicable law.

13 Changes to This Policy

Tec Software reserves the right to modify this Privacy Policy at any time by publishing an updated version on its website. In the event of a material change in how personal data is processed, you will be notified and given the opportunity to review the revised policy before deciding whether to continue using our Services.
